President – Director of Business Development
Shawn is a founding partner of Kilbarry Hill Construction Limited. After spending three years as a property management consultant with both Bayview Summit Developments and Wycliffe Property Management, two companies with over 40 years of excellence in the real estate and development industry, Shawn brings a wealth of knowledge and creativity to the construction field. As a consultant, Shawn oversaw the construction and restoration of many commercial, industrial, and residential projects. Highlights of his work during this period included the restoration of over 500 multiresidential units and single-family townhomes, as well as the expansion of the Shops on Steeles and the 404 located in Markham, Ontario Canada. Professionally, Shawn currently holds the designation of associate with the Institute of Municipal Assessors of Ontario.
Shawn is also actively involved in many charitable organizations. Shawn is a member of the Jewish National Fund’s “New Leadership Organization”, as well as being the Chair of Mt Sinai Hospital’s Leadership Sinai. Shawn is also a lead supporter of the Canadian Jewish Media Foundation’s production of, “Jews in Baseball: an American Love Story.”
Shawn has a Bachelors Degree in Political Science from The University of Western Ontario. Shawn also has a Diploma Certificate in Real Estate Finance from The University of British Columbia.
